Women Helping Women / Men 2 Work

BOB Search has been partnering with Women Helping Women / Men2Work for over a year to support them in their mission to empower low-income individuals to attain economic self sufficiency through employment success.  Last week, the BOB Search team toured the new Women Helping Women / Men2Work facilities in Santa Ana, CA.

We enjoyed seeing the bigger facilities which have more room to conduct information sessions on topics such as finding careers and improving interview skills.  During the tour, we also saw the expanded dressing rooms and clothing displays now offered to help better prepare clients for job interviews.  Since the new facility can now better serve both women and men, there is a common area with a row of computers where people can be trained with the computer skills they didn’t have before coming to Women Helping Women / Men2Work.

Women Helping Women / Men2Work is a non-profit organization that prepares socially disadvantaged people, including victims of domestic violence for the workplace.  The program helps women, and now men, break the cycle of poverty, avoid homelessness, and improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.  BOB Search will be supporting the organization at their annual GALA on April 1, 2011, and one of our partners, Mark Bregman serves on the WHW/M2W board.  We welcome our readers to find out more about Women Helping Women / Men2Work.  Visit the website:
